THE SILVERHAWK HYPRID AMPLIFIER IS A TWO CHANNEL TUBE PREAMP AND 300 WATT CLASS D AMPLIFIER.

This amp is unique to the SNK line because it is meant to be as clean as possible. CLEAN clean, with lots of headroom. As a result, it is very pedal friendly both in front of the the amp and in the effects loop. Let the voice of your preamp pedals really show.

The CH/SW 3 way toggle allows the user to select between the Normal ("guitar") input and the Abnormal ("bass") input or BOTH inputs in parallel to allow for unique blended tones and slighty more volume. This feature is not footswitchable.

A Silverface Bassman based preamp utilizing 2 12ax7 vacuum tubes running at real tube voltages followed by a series effects loop, Presence and Resonance controls. Preamp Line Out with the ability to mute the Line Out or Speaker Out. Powered by a 300W Class D amplifier Module.

There is a 30 second warmup delay timer in place at initial power up that allows the preamp tubes to warm up. Even with the GO! switch in the up position, sound will not pass until after this delay and the status LED will then switch from red to blue. This timer is only re-set after powering the amp off.

Note* the amplifier should not under any circumstances be powered up with the preamp tubes removed. If the preamp tubes are changed, it is recommended that both positions be replaced with the same typed and brand, if changing from stock.
